Website Intelligence: Audiences & Business Intel
Understand the Intelligence area: overview counters, AI-generated audiences, the business intelligence profile, and competitor/crawl monitoring.
Website Intelligence: Audiences & Business Intel
The Intelligence area is where ScaleBlogger researches your audience, your brand, and your market so the rest of the product can write with context. Its landing page is Intelligence Overview at /website-intelligence/overview, and the sidebar lists Overview, Audiences, and Business Intel. Everything on these screens is scoped to the website selected in the sidebar.
Intelligence Overview
The overview gives four counters — Audiences (identified segments), Competitors (being tracked), SEO Score (overall rating), and Business Intel (data points collected) — followed by AI-powered insight cards and quick-action tiles that jump into Audiences, Competitors, SEO Analysis, and Business Intel.
Audiences
The Audiences screen lists the segments ScaleBlogger has identified for your site. Each audience card is badged AI Generated or User Created and can hold demographics, psychographics, pain points, and content preferences.
- Refresh Analysis re-runs the audience analyzer against your site and updates the AI-generated segments.
- Add Audience lets you create a segment by hand when you know your market better than the crawler does.
- Any audience can be edited or deleted from the card.
Audiences are not just a report: the content engine loads them when it builds briefs and articles, so keeping them accurate changes how your content is written.
Business Intel
Business Intel is the strategic profile of your business, produced by the business intelligence analyzer from your website content. If no insights exist yet, the analysis runs automatically the first time you open the screen; afterwards you can refresh it on demand.
It covers:
- Brand voice, brand positioning, and messaging tone
- Brand archetype, personality, and core values
- Value proposition — core value, unique selling points, competitive advantages
- Services, products, and target market
- Company mission, vision, and business model
Competitor activity and crawl monitoring
The same Intelligence section also contains the competitive and crawl screens: Competitors, Competitor Analysis/SEO Analysis, Backlinks, Competitor Activity (what your competitors have published recently), Competitor Crawls (the status of each competitor crawl), Content Index, and Crawl Status (the queue for your own site). Use the crawl screens when data looks stale — they show whether a crawl is queued, running, or failed rather than silently returning old numbers.
Plan requirements
- Business Intel requires the Business plan or higher.
- Competitors and competitor analysis require Pro or higher.
- SEO Analysis and Backlinks require Pro or higher.
- Overview and Audiences are available on every plan.
You also need an active website selected; the screens prompt you to pick one if none is active.
