Social & Content Calendar Overview

Plan, generate, and schedule social posts and content-calendar events in ScaleBlogger.

Social & Content Calendar Overview

The ScaleBlogger Social & Content Calendar helps you plan, generate, and schedule social posts alongside your content calendar. Phase A focuses on scheduled, occasion-based posting. Real-time trend posting and autonomous engagement are planned for later phases.

Two places to work

  • Social Hub — a unified view of all your social posts with card, list, and calendar layouts.
  • Content Calendar — a week/month calendar of upcoming occasions, custom days, and scheduled posts that you can drag and drop to reschedule.

Supported platforms and formats

You can create posts for X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Medium, YouTube, TikTok, and Threads. Available formats depend on the platform and include single text posts, threads, quote cards, image carousels, link posts, stories, reels, and short-form or long-form videos.

How the Content Calendar works

  1. Populate — ScaleBlogger scans public holidays, awareness days, and industry occasions matching your country and niche, then proposes them as calendar events.
  2. Curate — review proposals, add custom days, import a CSV or ICS file, edit angles/platforms/dates, or dismiss events you do not want.
  3. Generate — due events become platform-tailored social posts and are queued in the social posts queue.
  4. Gate & publish — every post runs through the brand-safety gate; posts that require review stay pending until a human clears them.

Sensitivity and autonomy

Every event has a sensitivity class that controls publishing behavior:

ClassMeaningBehavior
postFun or commercial datesCan auto-advance depending on your autonomy setting
carefulSensitive or awareness daysAlways requires human review
no_postSolemn datesNever generated or posted

Autonomy levels are Assisted (all posts need approval), Supervised (post-class dates draft but still need review), and Autonomous (post-class dates can skip review; everything else still needs a human).

Scheduling posts

Each queued post has a scheduled_for time. The calendar view shows color-coded status chips:

  • Published — live on the platform (green)
  • Scheduled — queued for a future time (blue)
  • Pending / Processing — waiting to be generated or approved (yellow)
  • Failed — an error occurred and can be retried or rescheduled (red)

In the calendar view, drag a post chip to another day to move it. In the schedule panel, click the edit icon on a pending post to change its exact date and time.

Calendar settings

Inside Marketing → Social Calendar settings you can configure:

  • Planning horizon — monthly, quarterly, biannual, or annual
  • Countries and niches used to match occasions
  • Platforms to generate posts for
  • Lead days — how far in advance posts are generated
  • Maximum posts per run and monthly credit cap
  • Autonomy level

Plan requirements and billing

The Social Hub and Social Scheduling features are available on Pro and higher plans. Social Analytics is also a Pro feature, while Social Inbox and Community Monitoring require Business or higher.

Two credit costs apply:

  • social_calendar_population — charged once per population run that calls the LLM to research angles
  • social_calendar_post — charged per AI-generated social post

Blocked, failed, or no_post content never bills. Once the monthly credit cap is reached, population falls back to free catalog angles and generation stops for the month.
