Referrals Program
Share your ScaleBlogger referral link, track clicks and signups, and earn credits, Ambassador status, and badges.
Referrals Program
Audience: Any ScaleBlogger user who wants to earn free credits by inviting friends and colleagues.
Overview
Referrals (/referrals) is in the account menu in the sidebar. Share your personal link, and both you and the person you invite earn credits. The dashboard is organised into tabs: Overview, Share, Leaderboard, Badges, Analytics, and My Page.
Sharing your link
Your referral code is created automatically the first time you open the page. On the Share tab you will find:
- Your referral link, in the form
https://app.scaleblogger.com/?ref=YOUR_CODE, with a one-click copy button. - Your referral code, if you want to quote it directly.
- Share buttons for X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp.
- An optional custom referral page at
/ref/your-slugthat you can personalise with a headline, use case, and testimonial from the My Page tab, then publish.
What you earn
| When your friend… | Reward |
|---|---|
| Signs up with your link | You both get 3 free credits |
| Connects a website | You earn 1 credit |
| Makes their first payment | You earn 5 credits plus 10% commission on the payment |
| Switches to an annual plan | You earn 10 bonus credits |
During a promotional campaign a reward multiplier can apply; when one is active, a banner at the top of the page shows the multiplier and its end date.
Ambassador status and badges
- Refer 10 friends to unlock Ambassador status, which adds a permanent 20% bonus to the credits you earn. The Overview tab shows your progress toward it.
- Badges unlock at referral milestones, and the Badges tab shows how far you are from the next one.
- The Leaderboard ranks referrers each month; the top three earn bonus credit packs.
Tracking your results
The Overview tab shows total clicks, friends joined, credits earned, and your click-to-signup conversion rate, along with a feed of recent referral events and any revenue-share earnings. The Analytics tab breaks the last 30 days into clicks, signups, and conversions with a funnel view so you can see where people drop off.
Referrals vs. the Affiliate Program
Referrals reward you in ScaleBlogger credits (plus 10% revenue share on referred payments) and are open to every user. The separate Affiliate Program (/affiliate) is a commission programme with cash payouts. You can take part in both.
Tips
- Publish your custom referral page and share that link — it converts better than a bare tracking URL.
- Mention the 3 free credits your friend receives; it is an incentive for them, not just for you.
- Check the Analytics tab to see which channel sends the most signups, then focus there.
