News Hub
Monitor industry news per website, let AI score each story, and turn high-relevance stories into social posts and blog ideas.
News Hub
The News Hub (Content Studio → News Hub) monitors industry news for the website you have selected, scores each story for relevance with AI, and turns the strongest stories into social posts and blog ideas.
News sources
Click Add News Source to monitor a new feed. Five source types are supported:
| Type | What you provide |
|---|---|
| RSS Feed | A feed URL |
| Google News (RSS) | A topic — the Google News RSS URL is generated for you |
| SerpAPI Google News | Comma-separated topics searched through SerpAPI |
| Brave News Search | Comma-separated topics searched through Brave News |
| Custom URL | Any other feed URL |
Default system sources
Every active website automatically gets two system-managed sources: System News Feed (SerpAPI Google News) and System Trend Feed (Brave News Search). Their topics are derived from your website’s industry niche, or from keywords in its description, or from its title. They are marked Default in the sources table and cannot be deleted — you can still adjust their frequency limits or add your own sources alongside them.
How scanning works
- A scanner runs every 30 minutes and checks active sources according to each source’s scan interval (60 minutes by default).
- New stories are inserted with status New, de-duplicated by article URL within the same source.
- Each new story is scored by AI from 0–100 against your niche, audiences, and content strategy, and given a recommendation with a short reason.
Relevance scores and what they trigger
| Score | AI recommendation | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 70–100 | Auto Social | Social posts are generated and a blog opportunity is opened in Content Discovery |
| 50–69 | Blog Candidate | Social posts are generated |
| Below 50 | Archive | Nothing is generated; the story stays in the list for reference |
The four cards at the top of the page summarise Active Sources, Articles Found, Social Generated, and High Relevance (stories scoring 70 or above).
Controlling volume
Open Frequency Settings to set, per source, Max Social / Day (3 by default) and Max Blog / Month (2 by default). Social generation stops for a source once its daily limit is reached, so these limits are the main way to keep news-driven output at a comfortable level.
Working the article list
- Filter by source and by status: New, Scored, Social Generated, Blog Created, or Archived.
- Sort by AI relevance, newest first, or original published date.
- Open the original story in a new tab from the article link.
- Archive stories you do not want to act on so they drop out of the default view.
Troubleshooting
- No articles yet — add at least one source, or wait for the next scan; freshly added sources fill up after their first successful scan.
- Scores stuck at “Scoring…” — the story has been ingested but AI scoring has not finished; it will update automatically.
- A source returns nothing — check the feed URL or topics on the source, since the last scan result is recorded per source for diagnostics.
