Link Studio: Internal, Affiliate & Marketing Links

Use Link Studio to manage internal, affiliate, marketing, and product/service links, and control how ScaleBlogger places them in your content.

Link Studio: Internal, Affiliate & Marketing Links

Link Studio is where you tell ScaleBlogger which links exist and which ones it is allowed to use when it writes. It sits in the Create area of the sidebar and has four screens. Opening /link-studio on its own redirects you to Internal Links.

The four screens

Affiliate Links/link-studio/affiliateMonetization and affiliate partner links, with program name and commission rate.
Marketing Links/link-studio/marketingThird-party resources and partner links.
Products & Services/link-studio/products-servicesLinks to your own offerings, so articles promote you instead of a competitor.

All four screens work on the website selected in the sidebar. If no website is selected, the catalogs stay empty and the "Add" buttons are disabled.

Internal Links (Internal Content Index)

This screen lists all indexed pages from your website with SEO insights. At the top you get four counters: Total Pages (with how many are published), Avg Word Count, Monthly Traffic (estimated visits), and Last Updated (the most recent crawl date).

You can search by title, URL, or keywords and filter by status (Published, Draft, Archived). The table shows page title, status, word count, internal/external link counts, publish date, content enhancements (quiz, infographic, template, calculator), SERP position, cluster, and main keywords. You can assign a page to a content cluster from the row actions.

If the index is empty, use Start Indexing to crawl your site. Indexing runs in the background and can take a few minutes; the page refreshes shortly after the crawl is queued.

Affiliate, Marketing, and Product/Service catalogs

These three screens share the same layout: summary cards, a search box, and a list of links you can add, edit, or delete. Affiliate Links shows Total Affiliate Links and Active Programs; Marketing Links and Products & Services show Total, Active Links, and Total Usage (how many times ScaleBlogger has placed those links).

If you have no products or services configured, the Products & Services screen shows a warning: without them your AI writer does not know what to promote and may reference competitor tools instead.

What you can store on a link

  • URL, title, category, status, notes — the basics.
  • Topic tags — the topics a link is relevant for. "Suggest Tags" can generate them with AI.
  • Anchor text suggestions — phrases the writer may use as anchor text. These can also be AI-suggested.
  • Rel attribute — defaults to nofollow.
  • Affiliate program and commission rate — affiliate links only.
  • Priority score (default 5) and max uses per article (default 3), plus preferred content types.

How links reach your articles

When a brief is assembled and an article is generated, ScaleBlogger loads the active links for that website: internal links, product/service links matched to the article topic, plus your indexed pages for internal linking. The writer then proposes product mentions, affiliate opportunities, and marketing CTAs in the draft. Whenever a suggested URL actually appears in the finished content, ScaleBlogger stamps the link as used and records it in link usage tracking — that is what feeds the "Total Usage" counters.

Only links with status = active are considered, so pausing a link is enough to stop it being placed.

Plan requirements and permissions

  • Affiliate Links requires the Pro plan or higher.
  • Marketing Links requires the Business plan or higher, and the manage marketing team permission.
  • Internal Links and Products & Services are available on every plan.

Locked screens show an upgrade prompt instead of the catalog.
