Link Intelligence
How ScaleBlogger separates internal, affiliate and marketing links in Link Studio, tracks inbound links on the Backlinks screen, and feeds scan-discovered domains into outreach.
Link Intelligence
ScaleBlogger treats links as three distinct jobs: the links inside your own content (internal), the links you monetise (affiliate), the links you promote (marketing) — plus the inbound links other sites give you (backlinks).
Link Studio
Link Studio sits in the Create area and holds everything you link from your content:
- Internal Links (
/link-studio/internal) — the Internal Content Index. Every crawled page with word count, monthly traffic and last-updated date, plus search and filters, so the AI can link new articles to the right existing pages. - Affiliate Links (
/link-studio/affiliate) — your monetised destinations, inserted into content where relevant. Requires a Pro plan or above. - Marketing Links (
/link-studio/marketing) — campaign and promotional destinations. Requires a Business plan or above. - Products & Services (
/link-studio/products-services) — your own offers, so articles can link to the right product page.
Outbound authority links
External links in generated articles are governed by the workspace's external-linking settings: on/off, minimum and maximum links per article, a maximum per section, a minimum authority score (60 by default), the rel policy, and preferred and blocked domain lists.
Backlinks (Search & GEO and Website Intelligence)
Inbound links are tracked on the Backlinks screen, reachable from both /seo/backlinks and /website-intelligence/backlinks. It shows Total Backlinks, Live, Dofollow and Removed counters and five tabs:
- Monitored Links — every tracked inbound link and its current state.
- Gap Analysis — domains linking to competitors but not to you.
- Growth — snapshots and period-over-period change in referring domains.
- Page Audit — articles needing links, organic winners and pages with broken inbound links.
- Competitors — competitor backlink snapshots and recent changes.
Backlink screens require the SEO analysis feature (Pro plan or above).
How discovered links feed outreach
Backlink scans run against the DataForSEO backlink API and seed the outreach pipeline automatically. Rows created that way are tagged with an internal discovery_source of backlink_scan, so link-building prospects found by a scan stay distinguishable from prospects found through SERP research, brand mentions, broken links, HARO, competitor backlinks or manual import. Prospects then move through the normal outreach pipeline stages with priority and domain-authority metrics attached.
