DataForSEO Backlink Discovery
Discover and monitor referring links with DataForSEO: on-demand and weekly scans, collected fields, status and link-type filters, and troubleshooting.
DataForSEO Backlink Discovery
ScaleBlogger discovers the websites that already link to you by querying the DataForSEO backlink index. The results are stored in Outreach → Backlinks so you can monitor new links, lost links, and changes to existing links over time.
When backlink discovery runs
- Weekly: every Sunday at 06:00 UTC for websites that have outreach enabled.
- On demand: open Outreach → Backlinks and start a fresh scan for the selected website.

Filtering and reading the list
Use the Backlinks dashboard to filter by status and link type, and search by the referring domain. The totals shown at the top of the page update in real time as filters change.
Troubleshooting
- No backlinks found: DataForSEO credentials may not be configured, or the domain may have no indexed referring links. Check Settings → Integrations → DataForSEO.
- Stale data: run an on-demand scan or wait for the next weekly refresh.
- Unexpected removed links: DataForSEO marks a link
removedwhen its crawler can no longer reach it; verify the link directly on the source page before acting.
