Building Topic Clusters

Organize your content strategy with topic clusters for better SEO and comprehensive coverage.

Topic Clusters Explained

Topic clusters are a content organization strategy where you create a central "pillar" page covering a broad topic, supported by multiple related "cluster" articles that link back to it.

Why Use Topic Clusters?

  • Improve SEO by establishing topical authority
  • Create better user experience with organized content
  • Identify content gaps in your coverage
  • Build strategic internal linking automatically

Creating a Topic Cluster

  1. Navigate to Content → Topic Clusters
  2. Click Create Cluster
  3. Define your pillar topic (e.g., "Content Marketing")
  4. Add cluster subtopics (e.g., "Blog Writing Tips", "Content Calendar", "SEO Basics")

Cluster Visualization

ScaleBlogger provides a visual map of your topic clusters, showing the relationship between pillar content and supporting articles. Use this to identify gaps and plan new content.

Auto-Linking

When enabled, ScaleBlogger automatically suggests internal links between related articles in your clusters.
